A story about how my sisters and I went into the woods by our house to go ice skating.The Smashing Pumpkins front man Billy Corgan was an artist who made me feel the world had split open and revealed itself when I listened to his music and read his poetry. I made the poster you see here when I was 18 and obsessed. Still relevant today.
There was a red squirrel who sat in the tree outside my window when I was a little girl. One winter, I sewed him this quilt–even embroidered his name “Corny” along the edge.
